Updated Hyundai i30 Range
The latest Hyundai i30 includes a brand new design, advanced safety, and connectivity technology as well as enhanced fuel efficiency.
Hyundai took feedback from existing customers when they decided to upgrade their Hyundai i30 range.
So, what’s changed
The Hyundai i30’s design has been updated to give it a much more bold and sleek look. The wider grille features an accentuated 3D pattern that emphasises the agile look of the car. The headlights have also been given a design upgrade and have been slimmed down to include multifaceted reflector MFR LED technology and the new V-shaped LED daytime running lights enhance the renewed design of the front end.
On the rear of the car, a new bumper design has been implemented to improved aerodynamic performance. Similar to the front end, the rear combination lamps create a V Shape for a symmetrical look and feel between the front and back.
The new Hyundai i30 is available with redesigned, diamond-cut alloy wheels in either 17” or 18” sizes, offering a great addition to an already beautiful design.
For those who want to improve fuel efficiency, there is a mild Hybrid option available in the update of the Hyundai i30 range.
The Hyundai i30N Line trim has also seen a refreshed design and now exudes a bolder, sportier look. Much like the Hyundai i30, the i30N has seen enhancements to the front grille and head lamps. The grille has increased in size and now dominates the bumper area, whereas the side openings feature floating wings.
The rear bumper has undergone a complete redesign and the repositioned fog lights focus the visual centre of gravity closer to the ground.
Another updated feature that helps improve drivability is the tuning updates for suspension and steering in combination with the 1.5 T-GDi 160 PS engine, which makes for a more dynamic ride.
In addition to the six popular colours, Hyundai has also introduced three new colours to the Hyundai i30; Dark Night, Silky Bronze, and Sunset Red.
As well as the updated exterior features, the Hyundai i30 has also seen some interior improvements to create a modern interior design. The seats can be covered in either cloth or a combination of cloth and leather to suit your personal requirements.
There has been an addition to the interior colour options, which now included Pewter Grey.
For those who might be more interested in the technology features, there is a new 7” digital cluster and a 10” navigation touchscreen for complete connectivity, which is also compatible with Android Auto and Apple Car Play. As of Summer 2020, wireless phone mirroring will make it much easier to stay connected as you can transfer your smartphone apps onto your infotainment system.
The new Hyundai i30 will also allow wireless phone charging, reducing the need for cables to be used on journeys.
For those who will be driving long distances or commuting to a place of work, the Hyundai i30 also features Hyundai’s Bluelink technology that provides live information and the ability to control the car via an app. Live information provides real-time traffic updates, petrol stations within a given radius, and speed camera information. Bluelink services such as Find My Car and Maintenance information allow you to stay completed connected and in control of your Hyundai at all times.
In addition to the technology and exterior design updates, the new Hyundai i30 also comes with a host of safety features to offer complete peace of mind. These include Lane Following Assist, Front Collision Assist, Driver Attention Warning, and Intelligent Speed Limit Warning, all of which are designed to improve driver safety and of other road users.
