Hyundai Boot Space
When it comes to buying a new car, there are certain considerations to make when it comes to choosing which model is best for you. Just because the car has larger dimensions, doesn’t mean the boot size is larger than other smaller models.
Why consider the boot size of a car?
There are certain reasons you may need to consider the boot size when the time comes to upgrade your car.
You have children
If you have young children, you will know all too well that you will need to accommodate a pushchair or pram when you are out and about as well as the car having ISOFIX points for safety.
With babies, there’s even more stuff to carry, including spare clothing, nappies, bottles and toys to keep them occupied during your trip. If you are heading away for longer than a day, there will be a travel cot and luggage bags to accommodate too.
You have pets
If you have a dog, they will often travel with you in the car, but if you want to protect your interior, you may want to keep them secure in a cage which fits into the boot of your car.
Depending on the size of your dog, you may find the cage takes up quite a lot of space in the boot, so it’s important that your boot is big enough for this purpose.
You have a hobby
You will know all too well that your hobby often comes with a wide range of equipment that you may need to transport from time to time.
If you have an outdoor hobby such as golf, football or any kind of water sports, you will need enough boot space to accommodate your equipment – you don’t want muddy boots on the interior of your car!
You travel regularly for work
Being on the road for work can often feel like you are living out of your car or your hotel room. Having enough boot space to accommodate plenty of luggage and work gear is important to keeping a tidy mind. Not only this, but it also keeps items out of sight whilst you are staying away, so you don’t have to empty your car every evening (we recommend taking valuables with you).
You take regular staycations
Whether you go away for a weekend or for a week at a time, you will need a large enough boot so you can take plenty of luggage, including clean clothing, toiletries, entertainment equipment and emergency kit.
